Long run – was supposed to be 60 minutes, but I didn’t think I was there yet. So I aimed for around 40 minutes. I forgot to start my watch during part of this, so I went just a little bit more but not much.
39:31 – 3.09 @ 12:46 pace, 141 bpm
12:40 – 12:31 – 13:11
Felt good to have finished a structured week mostly perfectly. I just want to ease into increasing mileage and time so I can make sure I can make it to that start line. This training cycle is focused around lower mileage but faster. If I can’t run as far, I am working on being faster. I think my max long run will probably be at 9 miles, 10 tops. Just depends how my body can handle it without rushing to get there.
