This is the recap of Week 14 of Mo’ Cowbell Half Marathon training. Only 2 weeks left until the big day!! How am I currently feeling? Excited. I’m not feeling the speed I want is there, but it’s okay because I do still think I will PR from my last half marathon from April. Then I have another half marathon in April of 2024 that I will talk more about at another time!

This run turned into a faster run than I had hoped. The route I chose was a lot busier than I thought it would be and part of it doesn’t have sidewalks. I was just trying to run quickly to get to a safer road! I almost considered this my speed day until I saw my paces hah! So I felt like I was flying obviously. I think adrenaline does that to you.

This was my biggest week for mileage and my longest long run for training. I am so ready to taper now! These next two weeks of training will just be focused on maintenance and some rejuvenation. Then we will see how it all plays out!
