You’ve guessed it. It’s half marathon training time again. I am currently training for the GE Appliances Kentucky Derby Mini. I have never ran this race before, but we have friends in Louisville and this isn’t too far away from us, I just knew it would be my next half. I also hear it’s pretty flat. As you may or may not know, I trained for 18 weeks for my last half marathon, only to get sick the week of the race. I was not able to run it. I am planning to do the same 18 week training and it kicked off last week! Let’s go ahead and recap, shall we?
